We understand that being environmentally responsible is not just a trend, but a new reality.
Currently, more than 100 million tons of municipal waste have accumulated in landfills across Kazakhstan, and this figure increases by 4 million tons every year.
Most landfills have already reached their maximum service life, which means new land areas must be allocated for waste disposal.
However, there is a solution. ZETA produces goods from recycled plastic, thereby striving to reduce the damage caused to the environment.
Near the ZETA store in Almaty (225 Raimbek Ave.), sorting containers have been installed where you can bring plastic items of the following categories: 2, 4, 5.
What we accept:
- Canisters, tanks, watering cans, basins, buckets, boxes
- Containers and bottles from household chemicals
- Drink bottle caps
- Food-grade and regular plastic bags
- Tables, chairs, hangers
- Children’s toys without metal parts
- Food containers and packaging
- Polypropylene bags
- Disposable plastic tableware and straws
What we do not accept:
- Any plastic products of category 1
- Drink bottles
- Syringes
- Medical plastic
How to prepare plastic items for recycling:
- All plastic packaging must be empty, clean, and dry.
- Plastic bottles should be compressed to the smallest possible size.
- It is not necessary to remove labels and caps from bottles.
